Project Engineering: HF Acid Plant Expansion
A South Wales chemical company required process engineering and consultancy to define the scope of a planned expansion of their hydrofluoric acid plant.
InSite Technical Services worked closely with the client to develop the process design basis and process flow diagram. Subsequently, InSite developed the FEED package to the point of HAZID and supported the client in the preparation of updates to their site process safety report, including a review of their safety instrumented systems.
- Project scoped clearly defined, involving the key client stakeholders at an early stage to avoid scope change
- Project details based on client requirements rather than EPC specifications
- Project design and schedule met client needs
