Jake is responsible for the technical consultancy delivery of the company.
Jake is a Chartered Process Engineer with 23 years’ experience in the refining industry. Before becoming a founding partner at InSite Technical Services, he worked in a variety of roles including, refinery process engineering, business planning, corporate hydroprocessing technical support and licensing, technical consultancy and management. He also has experience in greenfield and revamp commissioning activities, and in working at multiple refinery locations worldwide.
Tom oversees all elements of the engineering service delivery that the company provides.
Tom has successfully delivered engineering project design packages and technical consultancy services to local and international clients. He was previously the operations manager at a UK oil refinery where he had a clear vision for safe and reliable operation as well as continuous improvement. His significant technical experience of process engineering support and refining operations backed up by solid process design experience in oil refining and petrochemicals allows him to deliver technically excellent projects for clients in a range of sectors.
Jean is accountable for the company’s strategic direction and organisational success, and is a principal technical consultant.
Jean is a Chartered Mechanical engineer with a varied career spanning 27 years in crude oil refining and consultancy. She is experienced in integrity management, including inspection and reliability, as well as operations and project engineering. Since founding InSite with five refining colleagues, her consultancy work has included insurance risk surveys, technical advice to insurance loss adjustors, delivering mechanical integrity training, and expert witness services to the UTLC.
Jason is responsible for strategic growth and client relationship management.
Jason is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He has a proven track record in project management and leading process design teams through all project phases from concept to commissioning. He has worked on a wide range of projects, from brown field debottlenecks to major green field facilities. Jason has particular expertise in design and operation of oil refineries and onshore oil & gas production facilities. He has extensive experience in senior operational and technical roles at both operating and EPC companies.
Jon is responsible for the daily delivery of projects and business operations.
Jon is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with over 15 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry. As Operations Director, he has overall responsibility for the service delivery of the company by supporting and overseeing the engineering, commercial, HR, project management and business support functions. A key element of his role is to identify and implement improvement areas to improve efficiency, in line with the company strategy. He has held engineering positions at both large EPC contractors and operating sites within the petrochemical industry.
Chris is responsible for developing and overseeing the financial strategy and is also a principal functional safety consultant.
Chris has 40 years’ experience in the petro-chemical and pharmaceutical industries. During this time, he has specialised in the application of industrial control and safety systems in process plant. His special interest has been the development and application of design tools for improved engineering efficiency. Chris represents the Energy Institute on the GEL/65/1 committee, the UKs BS EN 61511 maintenance committee and is also a member of the Energy Institute SIL/LOPA working group.
David is responsible for the technical delivery of process design and process safety on projects, as well as leading a team of discipline engineers.
David is a Chartered engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is a process engineering specialist with more than 20 years’ experience, principally in the upstream oil and gas industry. He is experienced in conceptual through to detailed design and execution of a wide range of process technologies, with particular expertise in gas processing. Projects include onshore and offshore facilities, including FPSOs, utilizing a wide range of standards and end user specifications.
Emma is responsible for commercial and contractual control, including risk mitigation.
Emma is a degree qualified Commercial Manager, with over 20 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas, LNG and energy sectors, proven commercial, contract and technical knowledge. With a Civil Engineering background Emma has gained multi-disciplinary experience, including mechanical and electrical, on multi-million pound projects in the UK and abroad. In Emma’s current role she manages all commercial activities to ensure projects are delivered within budget, on time and to the best quality and safety standards, specialising in contract negotiations and risk mitigation.
Joost is responsible for the successful commercial, contractual and technical delivery of InSite’s projects.
Joost has a team of experienced Project Managers that work with him to build strong client relationships. Joost is a degree qualified Civil Engineer with significant project experience in the refinery, LNG and infrastructure sectors. His specific experience includes project management; cost estimating; contract management; capital project and term maintenance management.
Emma is responsible for the business support functions of the company and manages the internal improvements of the business.
Emma is a degree qualified manager with extensive experience in business operations, management and project co-ordination. Her team includes IT, Building Facilities, Administration and Marketing. Within her role Emma analyses and reports on business strategy and performance, identifies operational improvements and manages internal projects to continually improve and maintain the company’s communication, systems, processes and performance.
Steve is a professional LNG Operational and Maintenance Manager with significant experience in the Oil, Gas and LNG industries in both the UK and Middle East.
Steve is a Chartered Engineer with experience on both liquefaction plants and LNG receiving terminals. His extensive experience has given him the capability to manage projects in a results-oriented manner with a commitment to safety, quality and timely delivery. Project management lifecycle experience from conceptual through to commissioning.
Steve is an excellent communicator and organizer, adept at analysing information with a logical approach to problem solving, he also has the ability to build relationships with people at all levels and is recognised as an excellent people manager.
Gary is responsible for ensuring all engineering design is completed to a high standard.
Gary is an engineering professional with thirty years of integrity management and mechanical engineering experience in the petrochemical industry, upstream oil & gas, general engineering, and power generation. He has extensive experience of managing inspection activities on large COMAH sites in line with UK regulation and a strong technical background at operating sites and fabrication facilities. He is an effective manager who has a long track record of building and leading teams managing inspection and asset integrity
