Operational Services: Refinery Turnaround Support

CHALLENGE
An oil refinery based in the United Kingdom required support in order to complete a turnaround and inspection of the plant.
SOLUTION
InSite Technical Services supplied a continual presence of two personnel on site throughout the six week duration in a rotation system. The team included two graduate engineers, so the rota was set up to ensure there was always a minimum of one Senior / Principal Engineer on site.
OUTCOME
The team verified the installations and ensured the relevant QA / QC documentation was signed off by the right level of seniority. This support increased the speed of the handover process, a crucial factor in the time critical environment of a plant shutdown.
